On Friday, June 16th, 2006 at approximately 10:30 a.m., the United States
Capitol Police arrested a juvenile in connection with the assault in the Senate
parks on the son of Chief Christopher McGaffin. The juvenile was charged with
robbery, processed at United States Capitol Police headquarters, and
transported to Family Court for arraignment.
The United States Capitol Police is coordinating with local law
enforcement to share information in an attempt to resolve other crimes
within the local community.
