2005 Inaugural Badge
Presented to Most Senior Police Officer
January 18, 2005
On Tuesday, January 18, 2005, a presentation
will be held at the Eney, Chestnut, Gibson Memorial Building,
United States Capitol Police Headquarters, for Officer Michael
Allen McCamey at 10:30 p.m. The building is located at 119
D Street, NE, Washington, DC. Chief Terrance W. Gainer will
present Officer McCamey with the United States Capitol Police
2005 Inaugural Badge #1 and an accommodation award in recognition
of his 35 years of police service.
Officer McCamey has been a member of the department
since February 6, 1970 and his first Inauguration was when
President Nixon was elected for his second term of office.
Officer McCamey has been assigned to the Senate Division Section
One for his entire career. Postal Square became his "regular"
assignment 10 years ago and he remains there to date.
