On Tuesday, April 15, 2003, the United States
Capitol Police will be conducting an evacuation drill of the
US Capitol and House Office Buildings. The evacuation will
occur during the morning hours and last approximately one
hour. Tentatively, the drill is scheduled for 11:00 a.m.
Throughout the evacuation, the following street
closures will be in effect:
D Street SE from First and D Street SE to
Washington and D Street SW;
2nd Street SW between C Street and Virginia
Avenue
